These days, if you haven’t got big statement eyebrows then you’re missing a trick. Back in the 90s and early 2000s, the trend was very much for excessively thin brows but now it’s all about going big and bold… think Cara Delevingne!
But if you’ve over-plucked your brows in the past or perhaps just aren’t blessed with big beetling brows, you’ve got to learn how to fake it until you can make it. There are ways you can help to stimulate hair growth, whether it’s through diet (eat lots of leafy greens) or by using something like a dab of olive oil on your brows to keep the hair healthy.
You can also use your makeup bag to help you achieve a fuller brow. For example, start off by using a brow brush and brushing the hair upwards so you can see what gaps you’ve got and what you’ll need to fill in.
Use a brow pencil to work out where your eyebrows should start and finish. Once you’ve done this, you can fill in the gaps using a good brow powder or even create the look of more hair using a brow pencil. Finish the look off by using some clear brow gel so you don’t have to worry about what your brows will look like at the end of the day.
