Not a day seems to go by without a new beauty trend popping up somewhere. Some, like microblading and ombre brows, look like they’re here to stay, but the latest one to capture people’s attention is feather brows.
Harpers Bazaar picked up on the unusual eyebrow shaping technique that’s started appearing on Instagram.
It was started by Stella Sironen, a Finnish makeup artist, who posted a photo of eyebrows with a perfect centre parting and ‘feathered’ edges, commenting that she was trying to start a new eyebrow trend.
Later, she added another post claiming that her suggestion that this should be a new beauty trend was just a joke. But other Instagram users have adopted it and had a go themselves.
Feather brows aren’t a permanent alteration to your eyebrows thankfully – you use a brow gel or glue to get the separation and keep the centre parting, so it can be easily reversed if you decide this isn’t the look for you.
One eyebrow trend you might want to jump on ahead of the summer is ombre brows, where a darker colour is applied to the arch of the brow and lighter shades are used towards the end of the brow to accentuate the shape.
If you go for a microblading treatment to get this look, you won’t have to worry about touching up your brows all summer – they’ll be the perfect colour and shape whether you’re hitting the beach, partying the night away or jumping in the sea.
Go on a microblading training course in Cheshire and you can help others achieve their perfect look this summer.
